Terms of service
The agreement between you and Splari. Plain language, because terms nobody can read protect nobody.
Your account
One account per person. Keep your password to yourself — anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
Buying a course
Courses are bought one at a time. There is no subscription, nothing renews automatically, and there is nothing to cancel. Prices are set by the practitioner who wrote the course and shown in US dollars.
The price includes one assessment of that course’s final project by a working practitioner. If the reviewer asks for changes, the resubmission that follows is included too. A further assessment after a pass is not. We say this on the course page as well, because it is the kind of thing that causes arguments later.
A course you have bought stays available to you, and certificates you have earned stay valid, for as long as we run the platform.
Assessment
Your final project is assessed by a working practitioner against a rubric published before you start. We aim to return every assessment within four working days, counted on one calendar we publish and apply everywhere.
If a reviewer cannot meet that, we hand it to somebody else. The wait is our problem, not yours.
A verdict of “changes needed” comes with one free resubmission. If you believe the rubric was applied wrongly, you may appeal once, and a second reviewer reads the work without seeing the first verdict.
Your work
What you submit stays yours. You give us permission to store it, show it to the practitioner assessing it, and keep it as the record behind your certificate. We do not publish it, sell it, or use it to train models.
Our content
Courses belong to the instructors who wrote them. Buying one gives you the right to learn from it — not to copy, redistribute or resell it.
Certificates
A certificate records that a named practitioner assessed your work and passed it. It is not a licence, a qualification awarded by a state body, or a guarantee of employment.
We can revoke a certificate if we find the work was not yours. We would tell you why first.
Closing an account
You can close yours at any time from your account page. We can close an account that is used to plagiarise, abuse other people, or break these terms — and we would explain why.
What we do not promise
That the platform is never unavailable, that a course will get you a particular job, or that every employer recognises a Splari certificate. We promise the assessment is real and the person who signed it exists.
Changes
We will give you notice of material changes by email before they take effect. If you do not accept them, you can close your account and keep any certificates already earned.
